NEWPORT
Yesterday as the workmen engaged in extending Ringgold street,
which runs through an old city graveyard, were cutting down a bank, they came
upon a coffin containing the remains of Mrs. Warnock, who was buried in 1848,
and which was recognized by some articles of jewelry which had been buried with
her. The remains were re-interred as they were found, in a more remote part of
the grounds.
