FT THOMAS-Capt. Nicholas, commanding Co L, has appointed Sergeant Morris Archer Quartermaster Sergeant of that company. Sergeant Archer is an experienced non commissioned officer, who formerly served here with the Second Infantry.

FT THOMAS-Mildred Violet Archer and Archie Moore Archer, children of Quartermaster Sergeant and Mrs. Morris Archer, of Oak st. were christened by Chaplain Orville G Nave at special services in the post chapel. Sergeant Archer is now on duty with his company, Company L, 3rd Infantry, at Ft St Michael Alaska.
