Moock Dairy
Philip Moock bought a small dairy farm in 1884 across from the Evergreen Cemetery. He moved to Three Mile Road in 1895 and he son George, who had started working the dairy with him in 1884, became a partner. When Philip died in 1910, George became the sole owner. In 1920 George incorporated the dairy into Hiland Dairy.

NEWPORT
A horse attached to one of Moock's dairy wagons took fright on
Monmouth street yesterday afternoon and dashed south on the latter thoroughfare
to Eleventh and west on Eleventh. When it had nearly reached Central avenue the
wagon was upset and wrecked but no one was hurt.

NEWPORT BRIEFS
A horse belonging to the George Moock Dairy Company broke though a wire fence in a field near Southgate yesterday and fell while crossing a small bridge that spans the roadway. The animal was hanging by his forelegs over the edge of the bridge when County Patrolman Manwaring passed on his motorcycle. The latter succeeded in getting the animal to its feet. the horse was slightly injured.
