Mitchell F Davrainville, 65, member of the Board of Education from the Fifth Ward died last night at his home, 31 East Tenth st. Newport after a lingering illness. Rheumatism of the heart caused death.
The deceased was a Civil War veteran, have seen hard service with the army of the Potomac. He leaves a widow, two sons and two daughters. Until illness incapacitated him he was employed as a flour salesman. The funeral arrangements have not been completed.
