Milton Edward Lape

Kentucky Post, Tuesday, 18 August 1942, page 2

The many friends of Milton E Lape, director of the Campbell County Relief committee and head of the county's food stamp plan, will wish him luck in the wider field of service he is entering with the American Red Cross in Washington.

Mr. Lape, a veteranof World War I in which he served valiantly, has made an enviable record as relief director in Campbell county. The task has never been easy; he has been subject to criticism as would anybody who attempted to administer the relief job with fairness to all concerned. Mr. Lape is commander of James Wallace Costigan Post of the American Legion and also is chairman of Selective Service Board No 21.

The relief administration, Legion and Selective Service have lost a valuable worker, but the national Red Cross has gained a capable executive.
