Milo T Mason
 

Milo Mason was born Mar 1841 in Wayne Co Michigan. He enlisted in the Union Army as a Private in Co D 4th Michigan Infantry on 16 May 1861 at Adrian, Lenawee Co Michigan. The 4th Michigan Infantry was organized at Adrian Michigan and mustered into Federal service for a three year enlistment on June 20, 1861. Milo was sent to the seat of war near Washington to join up with the Army of the Potomac. He saw extensive action during the Peninsula campaign in 1862 and was present at the siege of Yorktown. He saw more fighting at Hanover Courthouse, Battle of New Bridge, Mechanicsville, Gaines Mill and de was ruptured at Ft. Woodbury July 1861 in the march to Malvern Hill. He was discharged 30 June 1864 in Detroit Michigan.

He worked his way to Newport where he met and married Mary Elizabeth McCoy in Newport 17 Mar 1867.

Milo T Mason died 21 Apr 1921 in Los Angeles Calf. and was buried in the Angelus Rosedale Cemetery. Mary Elizabeth died 13 Nov 1922 also in Los Angeles.
