BELLEVUE
Mrs. Mary A Walt, aged 80, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs.
James Reed, of Fairfield avenue, last evening. The deceased was a resident of
this county for about 60 years and was beloved and esteemed by all who knew her.
The funeral arrangements have not been completed.

DEATH OF A PIONEER
Mrs. Mary A Walt, who died Saturday at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. James Reed, 73, Fairfield avenue, Bellevue, was one of Newport's pioneer residents, having lived in Campbell County over 60 years. She was the mother of Mrs. Horatio Thornton. She had been ailing but a short time, having celebrated Christmas with her nephews.
She was then enjoying the best of health and her death was a shock to her many friends. The funeral will take place today at 2:30 pm from her daughter's residence in Bellevue. Interment will be made at Evergreen Cemetery.
