Kentucky Post, Thursday, 30 April 1903, page 5

Carl Hoelscher, the 4 year old Bellevue boy, who was struck by an electric car on Fairfield Avenue, Wednesday morning is in a serious condition. He continually cries about pains in his head and it is thought he is injured internally.

Mary Schmidt, the little girl, who was struck at the same time is much improved but it will be some time before she will be able to be out. Her left shoulder was dislocated and she is suffering from bruises. The two children were removed to their homes on Washington Avenue Wednesday night from Speers Hospital where they were taken after the accident.
