NEWPORT
Mary J Reiley, wife of Judge Edward Reiley, died suddenly at her
home in Alexandria early Sunday morning. She was in her usual good health
when she retired Saturday night. About 1 o'clock Sunday morning it was
noticed that she was breathing heavily and efforts to arouse her were
unavailing. A physician was summoned but could do nothing for her and she
expired soon after his arrival.
Heart disease is believed to have caused her death. She was in her seventieth year. Mrs. Reiley was one of the most widely known and best beloved women in Northern Kentucky. The funeral will be held Wednesday, September 10 at 11 o'clock in the Methodist Church at Alexandria.
