Mrs. Mary Kruchten died at her home on Thornton street, early
yesterday morning age 73years. The deceased was amost estimable woman and had
been a resident of Dayton for 47 years. Four children survive her; Mayor John
Krutchen, Mrs. Mary Paul of Bellevue and Anna and Maggie Kruchten, who lived
with their mother.
Council met in special session last night with Hubbard Schwartz, in the chair to take action upon the death of Mrs. Kruchten, mother of Mayor John Kruchten. A committee of City officials will draft a resolution of condolence and to arrange for the purchase of a floral wreath for the funeral.
