Mrs. Mary K Jones is very ill at her home on Seventh and Park
Avenue, Newport. She is the widow of Hon. Thomas Jones and a daughter of the later
Colonel James Abert. No woman is better known in Newport or in the state, where
she with her distinguished husband has appeared at all prominent gatherings. She
is a bright, noble woman and is a devout member of the Catholic Church. Her only
daughter, Mrs. Brent Arnold is with her.
