PIONEER RESIDENT DIES

Mrs. Mary Gerrein, Widow Of Campbell County Contractor

Mrs. Mary Gerrein, 75 years old, pioneer resident of Campbell County, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Joseph Bohn, 439 Highland Avenue, Fort Thomas, last night. Mrs. Gerrein was born in Dayton, KY, and lived there most of her life.  She was the widow of the late Fred Gerrein, prominent contractor of Campbell County.

Besides Mrs. Bohn, who is the wife of County Commissioner Joseph Bohn, she is survived by two brothers, Edward and Frank Walter. Funeral arrangements are being completed by Vonderhaar & Stetter, Newport undertakers.

The Married Ladies Society of the St Bernard Church will meet Friday at 8 pm at the Vonderhaar & Stetter Funeral Home to pay last respects to Mary Gerrien.

Will of Mrs. Mary Gerrein, Dayton, was probated Friday by Judge Conrad G Matz in Campbell County Court. Bequests of $500 each are made the four children of her deceased husband, Andrew, Fred and Emma Gerrein and Carrie Miether, a niece Frances Schulkers and a nephew Albert Bohn.

Joseph Bohn, another nephew, is given $100. Similar gifts are made to St Bernard Church, Dayton, and the five children of her brother, Frank Walters. The residue is to be divided among her brothers, Edward, Anton and Frank Walters, and sister Carrie Bohn.
