In Memoriam
Died Suddenly, Mrs. Mary French, relict of George French, aged 84
years, at the residence of her son, Mr. Henry T French of Adams Express Co. St.
Louis Mo. on the morning of December 31st.
Her husband and family were for many years residents of Newport, and were well known to the older citizens and were highly respected and esteemed. Since her husbands death, she has lived with her son, Henry. Grandmother French, as she was called by all who knew her, was always busy in deeds of domestic kindness and her dear old face will be missed by all, and more especially by those of her son's household.
As a ripe sheaf, she is now gathered into her Father's garner.
