Mary Boone Bryan
 


Mary Boone Bryan ws born 14 Nov 1736 in Exeter Twp. Philadelphia Co, Pennsylvania. the daughter of Squire Boone and Sarah Morgan. She married William Bryan in 1755 in North Carolina. She served in Patriotic Service in Virginia during the Revolutionary War.

After the Revolutionary War, with 10 children, she and William migrated to Ky. via the Cumberland gap in the fall of 1779 and settled at Bryan Station. Three of her sons and husband died that winter. She and the surviving family were living in Campbell County by 1795. In 1813, she paid to her brother Daniel's account a debt to John Grant.

She died 9 July 1819  and was first buried on her son Samuel's farm in Grants Lick, in Campbell County, Ky. She was reburied at the Oakland Cemetery in Grants Lick in 1929.
