Mary Bonar

Mary (Thrasher ) Bonar was married to John Bonar (1765-1795), the son of John Bonar, and a widow by the 1796 property tax.  She had a son John Bonar Jr. who was born about 1794 and died October 1833 in Pendleton County.  She had a daughter Patsy born about 1795 who married William Bush, son of William Bush and Elisabeth Shearer.

In March of 1816 Pendleton Co. order Book C page 71, John Bonar is listed as an orphan of John Boner, deceased, and he chose William Thrasher as his guardian with security by George Turner.

John Bonar Jr. married Mary Baker, daughter of John Baker,  23 Oct 1817 in Pendleton Co.  In a suit filed by Stephen Boner vs. Larkin Smith 25 Oct 1853, it establishes the children of John Boner Jr. who are: Stephen, Thomas, Daniel, Betsey, Polly and Jane.

Stephen Bonar died 3 June 1869 in Pendleton County; married Mary Jane Dean 11 Nov 1851.

Thomas Bonar was born 1819 in Pendleton Co. and died 5 Aug 1862 Scotland County, Missouri in the Civil War near Bible Grove; married Mary Jane Morris 2 Dec 1841 in Pendleton County who was born 11 Jan 1824.  She died 24 Apr 1885 in Scotland County, Missouri and both are buried in the Black Oak Cemetery in Granger Missouri.

Daniel Bonar died before November 1858
Elisabeth (Betsey) Bonar was born about 1825 in Pendleton County; married Bland Beckett in 1822.  On 18 Nov 1858 she sold to Wm S Crawford her share of her father John Bonar's estate. (Deeds L Book page 219)
