Miss Martha A Mooar and A R Clare, of Cincinnati, were married Thursday night at the residence of the bride, 357 Berry Avenue. The bride is the oldest daughter of the late Capt. Frank Mooar, who lost his life by drowning in the Ohio River when the steamer Adelle was sunk by the ice at Brown's Landing in January,
The wedding was to have taken place in January, but the tragic death of the bride's father caused the marriage to be postponed. The wedding was a very quiet one, no one but the immediate friends and relatives being present. Rev Robinson of the Taylor Street M E Church in Newport performed the ceremony.
