Services for Louis F Yockey, 65, who retired as assistant police chief of Highland Heights because of illness about six week ago, will be held at 2 pm Wednesday at the Radel funeral home, Newport. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Yockey of 125 Main avenue, Highland Heights, died Sunday at St Luke Hospital, Ft Thomas. A veteran of World War I, he was a member of Alexandria Post No 3205, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and of the Disabled American War Veterans. He also was a member of Newport Lodge No 2, Fraternal Order of Police. He leaves a widow, Mrs. Mary Musselman Yockey; a daughter Mrs. Mary Baynum, Highland Heights; a son Louis R, Newport; a brother, Rudolph, Independence; a sister Mrs. Clara Robson, Covington and seven grandchildren.
