Louis Downard, 39, World War veteran, of 106 W Front st. Newport, died Tuesday at Booth Hospital, Covington after an illness of several days from pneumonia. He is survived by his widow and three chidren.
Funeral services from the home, followed by services at the Short Creek Baptist Church at noon Friday, slow time.
