Miss Loretta Sacksteder, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Sacksteder, Cold Spring, has joined her brother and cousin as members of the United States armed forces. A member of the Womens Army Auxilitary Corps, she is completing her basic training at Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia.

Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring Ky. still retains her feminine ways, a purse full
of paraphernalia, even though she is in the Army as WAC.
A former cashier at the Colonnade Cafeteria, Corp. Sacksteder attended Army Mimeograph School. She is now on duty at the Spokane Army Air Field mimeograph department, Spokane Wash. One of her brothers, Pvt. Raymond Sacksteder is serving with the Army and another, Seaman Second Class Bernard Sacksteder, with the Navy.
