SGT. Lillard K Brown, 20, husband of Mrs. Edit Brown, of 515
Grand avenue, Ft Thomas, and son of Mr. and Mrs. J M Brown, of Silver Grove, was
wounded in action May 15 in the fighting in the Philippines, his family was
notified.
An infantryman, Sgt. Brown entered the service in March 1943 and was sent overseas 21 months ago. He has been awarded the Oak Leaf Cluster. A brother, Seaman Lewis Brown is now stationed with the Coast Guard at Manhattan Beach, Brooklyn NY.
