A nature trail through the new public park being constructed on Grand av. Ft Thomas, was proposed Friday by the White Rose Troop of Girl Scouts of which Mrs. Everett E Elsey is scoutmaster.

Mrs. Elsey and members of the troop are to meet Sunday at 2 pm with Mayor L L Ross and Charles Kuhn, city engineer and discuss plans for the park.

He said the committee was disappointed because President Roosevelt had vetoed the bill because of a technicality. Mayor L L Ross said a similar complaint filed with the CAA had been answered by a request that a description and license of the offending plane be forwarded to Washington.

Dr. Lewis L Ross, 808 S Ft Thomas av. Ft Thomas, mayor of Ft Thomas for the past 17 years, who maintained dental offices on Sixth street, Newport, since 1896 died Wednesday. He was 75. A native of Ft Thomas, Dr. Ross was a member of Ft Thomas City Council for 16 years. He was a member of the Highland Methodist Church and served as superintendent of the Sunday School since 1899.

Besides his widow, Mrs. Mary Lou Shaw Ross, he leaves two sons, Bruce, Ft Thomas and Lewis, Newport; one daughter Mrs. Catherine Davis, Mid West City, Okla. three grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Ben H Phister. Services will be held at 10 am Saturday at the Dobbling Funeral home, Ft Thomas. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Members of the Ft Thomas City Council will serve as pallbearers.
