CAPTAIN ANDREW LEWIS
The remains of Andrew Lewis, late a Captain in the 3d Regiment Infantry USA were brought to Newport, Ky. from Florida, on Sunday last and on the 3d inst. interred with Masonic and Military honors.
He was conveyed to the Palace of the Dead, under the escort of the handsome volunteer companies from Cincinnati, whole military appearance and excellent discipline reflect upon them the highest honor. Captain N C Macrae, of the Newport Barracks, superintended the whole funeral procession in a soldier like manner.
