Sgt. Lenwood Gose, 33, son of Mr. and Mrs. R F Gose, of Blossom lane, Southgate, was wounded in action in France Aug 8, according to information received from the War Department.
In the Army since October 1940, Sgt. Gose has been awarded the Purple Heart. He has been overseas since January 1944. He is stationed with the Armored Division.
