A pleasant surprise party was tendered Mrs. Lena Hoffman, of Cold Spring, Saturday evening, the occasion being the fifty-sixth anniversary of her birth. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Nieman, Leonard Hoffman, Minnie Hoffmann, Adam Hoffmann and wife, S Hoffmann, Mr. Youtsey, John Hoffmann and wife, Mrs. And Mrs. Trout, J Bart and Miss Mary Trout.
