Miami Tribe No 17 IORM, Newport, has installed the following: King Blanchard, Junior Sagamore. The tribe willl initiate 12 candidates Wednesday evening.

No definite cause was given Friday why King Blanchard, 42, shot himself Thursday night. Blanchard, former jockey, had lived with A J Hammer for three years. Mrs. Hammer told Coroner Digby Blanchard had been ill for some time and was out of work. Coroner's verdict was suicide. The body was removed to Cositgan & Roll's morturary chapel Friday.

Funeral of King Blanchard, who killed himself Thursday at the home of A J Hammer, 822 Washington av. Newport, took place Saturday afternoon from the residence of his father, on East Third st. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery.
