Cpl. Kenneth N Alexander, 21, husband of Mrs. Mary Byland
Alexander, of 524 Seventh avenue, Dayton, and son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry
Alexander, of 145 Ross avenue, Bellevue, was killed Friday when an Army plane
crashed at Chatham Field Ga. according to word received here. A graduate of
Bellevue High School, Cpl. Alexander entered the Air Corps two years ago. He
played basketball and football at Bellevue and was listed on the all state team
several times.
Besides his parents and widow, he leaves a son Kenneth Alexander Jr. 18 days old and a brother T Sgt. Robert Alexander, serving with the Air Corps in Maine. His body will be sent to the Tharp & Stith funeral home, Dayton.
