Frank and Grant Kees

"Frank Kees died of his injuries. He was taken
care of by the Queen of Romania. She had him in her home and had her
doctors attend to him. She sent flowers to Frank's mother over the
years and I'm told she even visited Alexandria to console the family after the
war.
The Kees family lived in the white house behind Southern States at the
time. Frank was killed on the Ploesti Oil Raids if I remember
correctly."
