NEWPORT
Mrs. Katherine Gunkel, the beloved wife of Dr. Henry Gunkel, was
buried yesterday morning from the family residence on East Sixth street. Rev J G
Mueller, pastor of St Paul's Protestant Evangelical Church, performed the
ceremony.
The pall bearers were composed of the immediate relatives of the family and were Messrs. Fred Weber Sr. Fred Weber Jr. James M Rainey, Dr. Charles Gunkel, William Fuchs and George Fuchs. The remains were interred at Evergreen Cemetery.
