DEATHS

D Mrs. Katherine Gaugh, wife of the late Captain Boyd Gaugh, died at the residence of her granddaughter, Mrs. Cora Stagman in Mt Lookout (Cincinnati) yesterday morning, aged 82 years. Funeral Sunday, Aug 26 at Grace M E Church, Newport at 3 pm.

Interment in Evergreen Cemetery.

NEWPORT

GOOD WOMAN GONE-Mrs. Katherine Gaugh, widow of Captain Boyd Gaugh, died yesterday morning at the residence of her granddaughter, Mrs. Cora Stagman, at Mt Lookout Ohio. 

The deceased was one of Newport's oldest and most respected citizens, having settled when but 10 years of age and lived here until a short time before her death.  She was 82 years of age and leaves six children, five sons and one daughter.
