Dr. J E Pinguely, 88, who for 88 years practiced medicine in Campbell county, died early Thursday at Speers Hospital. A native of Nashville, Tenn. Dr. Pinguely had received his education in Cincinnati. He graduated from the Ohio Medical College in 1888. Following his graduation he moved to Melbourne, Ky. and began his practice. He was a charter member of the Kenton-Campbell County Medical Association and also was a member of Masonic Lodge No 916, Silver Grove.
In 1938 the medical association had commemmorated his 50th year of active practice with a celebration. He leaves his widow; Mrs. Nellie Baker Pinguely; a son, D B Pinguely, Erie Pa. a daughter, Mrs. R C Williamson, Dayton O. a brother, Fred Pinguely, Grants Lick and three grandchildren.
The Masonic Lodge will have charge of the services, which
will be held at the residence in Melbourne at 3:30 pm Friday. Cremation will
take place following the services. A C Dobbling & Son, Bellevue and Ft Thomas
funeral directors are in charge of arrangements.
