NEWPORT
OBITUARY-The numerous friends of Squire Joseph Hoff will regret
to learn of his death, which occurred shortly before six o'clock last evening.
Deceased was born in Alsace, France, July 9, 1846, and was, therefore, aged thirty-two years and five months at the time of his death. He had been a resident of Newport twenty-six years. He was a member in good standing of the St Martins Benvolent Society; also of the German Benevolent Association and French Mutual Aid Society of Cincinnati.
