DEATH IN NEWPORT
A short funeral service in the mortuary chapel of J J Radel & Co
undertakers in Newport and burial in Evergreen Cemetery this afternoon is the
last chapter in the suicide of Joseph J Woods, a young traveling salesman who
shot himself over a week ago.
Members of the Radel undertaking establishment, as well as the authorities of Campbell co. are as near to the solution of the suicide now as they were when the body was found along the roadside above Ft Thomas. Every effort has been made to locate some relatives, but without success and the motive of the suicide will probably never be known.
Sufficient funds have been contributed for a respectable burial by representatives of the Multiphone Music Co. which company Woods formerly worked for and a grave has been prepared in Evergreen Cemetery.
