Joseph W Hoyle, contracting painter and decorator, died Tuesday at his home, 408 E Fourth street, Newport, after a long illness. He was a lifelong resident of Campbell county and was born in Belleuve.
Mr. Hoyle was a Spanish American veteran and was a member of Rankin Prout Post, Veterans of Foreign Wars. He also held membership in the Robert Burns Lodge No 163 F&AM and the Scottish Rite. Besides his wife, Ivy Keen Hoyle, he leaves a son, Philip at home; one brother, Raymond of Canton O. and one sister, Mrs. Edith Didby of Newport.
Services are being arranged by the Charles A Smith Sons funeral home, Newport. Services will be held at 2 pm Friday at the Charles A Smith Sons funeral home, Newport. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
