OBITUARY
Joseph J. Steffen, a retired farmer, died yesterday at his home on Winters Lane, Cold Spring. He was 84 years old.
Mr. Steffen resided with a daughter, Mrs. Freda Goetz. Survivors include Mrs. Goetz, and a second daughter, Mrs. Helen Bill, Cincinnati; three son, George Steffen, Eau Gallie, Fla.; Clarence Steffen, Tucson, Ariz., and Albert Steffen, Cincinnati; a brother, Frank Steffen, of Mt. Washington; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren. His wife, Mrs. Carolyn Klump Steffen, died several years ago.
He was a member of the St. Joseph Benevolent Society of Cold Spring.
The funeral will be held at 8:30 a.m., Monday, from the Alexandria, Ky. Funeral home. Requiem High Mass will be sung at 9 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, Cold Spring. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
