The funeral of Joseph Rechtin, 11, will be held Monday morning
from the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Rechtin, 424 Van Voast
avenue, with services at 8 o'clock at Sacred Heart Church.
Rechtin died Friday night at Speers Hospital from a fractured skull. He was found lying near the C and O tracks at Brent, Ky. by a train crew. Coroner Digby learned that the youth, who was accompanied by two companions, attempted to board a moving freight train and fell to the ground. It is thought he sustained the fracture of the skull in this manner. Coroner Digby will continue his investigation and render a verdict Monday.
