NEWPORT
Joseph G Orth, well known Monmouth street feed merchant, died
yesterday at his home, 513 Monmouth street, of pulmonary trouble. Orth succeeded
to the business of Widrig & Henzelbrok about 12 years ago and since that time
has prospered.
Last Saturday he sold out his business to Herman Riesenberg with the intention of retiring from business. His condition became alarming Sunday and yesterday, he passed away. The funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at St Stephen Church.
