Requiem High Mass for Joseph J Mueller, who died Wednesday in Speers Hospital, will be sung at 9 am Monday at St Stephen Church, Newport, following burial in St Stephen Cemetery. Friends may call at the Betz Funeral Home, Newport, from 3 to 9 pm Sunday. Mr. Mueller, who was 71, lived at 797 Linden avenue, Newport.

He was a veteran of World War I, a member of the Rankin Prout Carius Post No 1404, Veterans of Foreign Wars, which will hold services at 7:30 pm Sunday at the funeral home and the Holy Name Society of St Stephen Church. He leaves his widow, Emma; two daughters, Mrs. William Woody, Ft Thomas and Mrs. Dan Di Orio, Bellevue, three sisters, Sr. Mary Evangelist, Convent of Divine Providence, Kahda O; Mrs. Ray Wilhelm, Bellevue and Mrs. Esther Schuerman, Ft Thomas; one brother, Albert Mueller, Ft Thomas and seven grandchildren.
