The remains of Joseph McDowell, who died on Thursday at the
Dayton (Ohio) Soldiers Home, arrived here Friday night and were taken to the
residence of his niece Mrs. E A Quinn, 1037 Washington Avenue, Newport, where
the funeral services will be held.
