John W. LaWarre Sr., 79, of Highland Heights, died Sunday at Northern Kentucky
Care and Rehabilitation Center, Highland Heights. He was a retired maintenance
worker with St. Luke Hospital East, Fort Thomas, and an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Elaine LaWarre; daughters, Jo Anne Althammer of
Sardinia, Ohio, Deborah DeWald of Highland Heights, Deneen M. Dirr of
Fort Thomas, Jacalyn M. Hoffman of Walton and Donna Jean Snow of Elsmere;
a son, John W. LaWarre Jr. of Highland Heights; sisters, Geneva Fry of Alexandria and Lorraine Williams of Dodge, Texas; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at A. C. Dobbling and Son Funeral Home,
Fort Thomas. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery, Fort Thomas. Memorials
are suggested to Northern Kentucky Care and Rehabilitation Center,
3510 Alexandria Pike, Highland Heights, Ky. 41076.
