Requiem High Mass will be sung at 9 am Monday at St Anthony Church, Bellevue, following prayers at 8:30 am at the Vonderhaar and Stetter funeral home, Newport, for Joseph Lambers, 50, widely known northern Kentucky bowler. Burial will be in the Old St Joseph Cemetery, Price Hill. Mr. Lambers who resided at 932 Thornton street, Dayton, died Friday at Speers Hospital, Dayton. He was removed to the hospital by the Dayton Life Squad after collapsing while at work.
A foreman at the Wadsworth Watch Case Co. Dayton, Mr. Lambers had bowled in several tournaments. Dr. Leo Sauter, Campbell county coroner, said death was caused by a heart attack. A veteran of World War I, he leaves his widow, Anna Lambers and two sisters, Mrs. Robert Connelly, Cincinnati and Mrs. Ferdie Scherder, Covington.
