Klump, 1165 Park avenue, Newport, recently completed his schooling at an
undisclosed Navy base in Tennessee and has been transferred to Hollywood, Fla.
for additional study.

Joseph C Klump, 19, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph C Klump, 1165 Park avenue, Newport, won the Navy's coveted air crewman wings at the US Naval Station, Ft Lauderdale, Fla. recently upon completing flight combat training in torpedo planes.
The winds were presented by Capt. L E French, commanding officer. A student at Newport High School, Petty Officer Klump worked as a stock clerk and typist before joining the Navy.

Petty Officer Joseph C Klump, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Klump, of 1165 Park avenue, Newport, has returned to his base at Norfolk, Va. after spending a 20 day furlough with his parents.
