Miss Jane Casson of San Francisco, who was called here to Grants Lick by the death of her father, Joseph Casson, will remain with her mother.

Joseph Casson was born 28 Dec 1843 in Grants Lick Ky. the son of Woodford & Sally (Grant). He joined the Union Army at Camp Chase, Columbus Ohio, on 17 Apr 1865 with his brother, George Braxton Casson. They were released 8 May 1865. Joseph married Harriet Ann Kyle 29 Apr 1869 in Grants Lick.
Joseph died 7 Jan 1925 in Grants Lick and was buried in the Oakland Cemetery.
