Funeral services for Joseph Burkart, grocer, 1939 Oakland avenue, Covington, will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Muehlenkamp, Costigan & Roll funeral home, Newport, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Burkart, 57, was found dead Thursday night seated in his auto in Cincinnati. A heart attack was blamed. He had operated a grocery and butcher shop a number of years at Thornton and Patterson streets, Newport.
He leaves his widow, Mrs. Rose Burkart; two sons, Leslie and Robert Burkart; a daughter Miss Lorene Burkart; two brothers and two sisters.
