Joseph Nicholas Blank

"We need youth to train....the proper type of youth." These are the words of a man whose job it is to supervise the duties of approximately 200 youthful northern Kentucky residents employed by on the National Youth Administration Work Experience Project. He is Joseph N Blank, shop consultant of the project. Mr. Blank attended St Stephen School in that city and was graduated from Woodward High School, Cincinnati. Early in life he became engaged in radio and electrical work.

During the World War, Mr. Blank served with the 36th Battery, Fourth Anti-Aircraft Artillery. He trained at Fortress Monroe, Point Comfort Va. and then went to Paris. Upon returning from the war, he worked in the commercial department of the Cincinnati Gas & Electric Co.
