EDGAR HEIRS

State Senator George Wilhelmi has received a letter from Mrs. Elizabeth De Lang, of Egg Harbor, NJ, in which the writer seeks information regarding the heirs of Jonathan Edgar, who formerly lived in Newport. She says that by the death of a relative a fortune is coming to the Edgar heirs.

Jonathan Edgar was a member of Noah's Dove Lodge of Odd Fellows at the time of his death in January 1877. He left a daughter and two sons. One of them was a daughter and two sons. One of them was Frank Edgar, who died about 15 years ago, after having served the city as City Attorney. Oscar Edgar, another son, engaged in newspaper work, and when last heard from was connected with the New York World.

A daughter married a man named Wendt and removed to the West.
