Dr. Douglas Schoolfield and Coroner Tingley held a post mortem on the remains of Jonas Myers and found that death resulted from the bursting of an aneurism that had formed below the wound in the thigh as a result of the injury. Governor Bradley yesterday notified Judge Bennett that he had
offered a reward of $150 for the arrest of John Ogle, alias Fuller, indicted for
the murder of Jonas Myers in this city nearly a year ago. Ogle shot Myers during
a dispute, and Myers died shortly afterward.
Ogle escaped and has since succeeded in evading capture, mainly because no reward was offered for his arrest. Ogle is a brother of Miles Ogle, the famous counterfeiter.
