The applicant for a pension is supposed to have been residing in Campbell County, Kentucky at the time of his declaration for a pension. It is believed that he entered the War of the Revolution under an assumed name. It is advised to refer to the pension record of William Goodwin. A search for this name in the records on file at the Pension Office in Washington City in the District of Columbia was made.
