The funeral of John "Buttermilk" Weber, former Assessor of Campbell County, who died Thursday at his home at Camp Springs on the River rd. about 10 miles east of Newport, took place Sunday afternoon from the Tug Fork German Lutheran Church, and was largely attended by the residents in the upper end of the county, as he was widely known and highly respected not only in the section in which he lived, but throughout the entire county.

The body was buried in the cemetery at Tug Fork.

The funeral of the late John Weber, so well known in the upper portion of the county as "Buttermilk" Weber died last Thursday at his home on River rd. took place Sunday afternoon from the Tug Fork Lutheran Church and was largely attended by prominent citizens of the Highlands and this vicinity, by whom the late Mr. Weber was held in the highest esteem.
