NEWPORT
John G Thorn, aged 69, Republican Executive Committeeman at
California Precinct and for several years Postmaster there, died yesterday at
his home. Death was due to a complication of disease, although heart trouble was
the immediate cause of death.
The deceased was one of the most substantial and well known men in the upper end of Campbell County. He leaves a wife and two children. The funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the residence and the remains will be interred at Grandview Cemetery, at Mentor Ky.
