Albert Thiel, 59, of 801 Fourth avenue, Dayton, well known in Democratic circles and an employee of the Campbell County Courthouse Commission, died Friday night at his home after a lingering illness. A native of Dayton, Mr. Thiel was a veteran of World War I, serving overseas.
Mr. Thiel was a brother of Charles Thiel, civil engineer and former Campbell county engineer. Two other brothers, Joseph, Dayton cafe owner and Mike, and a sister, Mrs. Clara Fahrubel, all of Dayton, also survive. Mr. Thiel was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and St Francis Court, Catholic Order of Foresters.
Funeral arrangements are being completed by the Vonderhaar & Stetter funeral home.
